What is included in IV treatments?
The IV bag may contain essential fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants; the blend of nutrients depends on each individual personalized treatment.
What is an add-on IV push?
Our IV pushes may help with boosting energy and strengthening the immune system. IV pushes use less fluid, and they can be administered in about 10 minutes. This is another way to fast-track vitamin absorption.
What is an Intramuscular shot or IM shot?
It is another way to deliver nutrients to the body safely and quickly. Nutrients are administered into a muscle, either in the arm or buttock (gluteal) area. Some people may receive several IM shots at on time depending on individual, personalized treatment and wellness needs.
Are IV treatments safe?
Yes! The ingredients for our IV treatments come from accredited pharmacies and suppliers with active certifications and licenses. All treatments are prepared by our licensed medical professionals.
Who decides what goes into the IV bag?
We provide a complimentary consultation with our Medical Director who is a licensed physician. The Medical Director will ask you a series of questions about your health. You will then decide on the best course of treatment together.
Who administers the IV drip treatment?
A licensed medical professional administers the treatment and remains with you throughout the therapy. It generally takes just a few seconds for our skilled registered nurse (RN) to insert the IV.
Are there any age restrictions?
Our IV treatments are designed for adults. You must be 18 years of age.
Is IV therapy safe in pregnancy? There are some IV treatments that may be considered safe in pregnancy. However, our team does not provide IV therapy services in pregnancy.

Some people may feel rejuvenated and energized immediately after receiving an IV treatment. For others, it may take a day or two to feel the full positive effect.
How long do the benefits of an IV treatment last?
It depends on the individual. In general, you can expect to feel the benefits from IV nutrition therapy for 1 to 3 weeks.
Are there any side effects of IV hydration therapy?
Some people may feel a bit flushed or warm during the treatment. Others may experience slight irritation at the IV insertion site. You may also experience the taste of vitamins in your mouth, but that usually goes away quickly. The risk of serious side effects is extremely low.
How long does an IV hydration treatment take?
In general, the estimated time on hour which includes setup. Some treatments may take less than 45 minutes or longer than an hour, depending on the individual’s personalized treatment.
What can I do while the IV is being administered?
You can read a book, chat with a friend, take a nap, watch your favorite show, meditate, whatever works for you while you are receiving your IV treatment.
How often do I need an IV treatment?
This depends on the individual and their personalized treatment. Our Medical Director or nurse can discuss your individual objectives and help you determine what treatment schedule might be the best option for you (such as weekly, biweekly, monthly, bi-annually or annually).

What happens when the IV treatment is done?
The nurse will remove it from your arm and place a small dressing on the area. Slight pressure is applied at the injection site after the IV is removed to prevent bleeding. We recommend that you keep the dressing in place for about 45-60 minutes.
How much does an IV hydration treatment cost?
The cost depends on the type of treatment you receive. We will discuss the price of your personalized treatment with you in more details at the time of your consultation.
How fast can I get an appointment?
We partner with Hydreight to make scheduling an appointment quick and easy. You are welcome to schedule appointments in advance through the Hydreight app, select Ion Hydro, then choose a specific time for your treatment.
